SEQURE Health was founded to solve a simple problem — New Zealand’s public hospitals were falling behind on waitlists, and patients were waiting too long. SEQURE built an innovative model that brought private specialist capacity to public hospitals, in ways they’d never had access to before.

SEQURE Health has spent nearly a decade working inside New Zealand’s public health system — coordinating specialist staff, managing complex clinical service delivery, and finding efficient ways to get more patients treated, faster. The results speak for themselves: nearly 45,000 health outcomes delivered for Health New Zealand — from cataracts to colonoscopies.
Along the way, we built something valuable: a national network of specialist clinicians, a set of systems for coordinating complex healthcare delivery, and a deep understanding of how to make specialist services work efficiently at scale.
